We’re seeking a proactive and purpose-driven Social Outcomes and Local Benefits Coordinator to join a high-impact infrastructure alliance delivering one of Queensland’s most significant rail upgrades.

This newly created role is embedded within a dynamic project delivery team and offers the chance to shape meaningful social and economic outcomes for local communities. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, collaborative environment where your ideas and initiative will be valued from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Activating the project’s community hub in Beenleigh and delivering a program of workshops, events, and engagement initiatives.

- Driving local economic development by identifying procurement opportunities for SMEs, First Nations businesses, and social enterprises.

- Coordinating industry working groups and building partnerships with employment, training, and community organisations.

- Monitoring subcontractor performance against social outcomes and local benefits targets.

- Reporting on outcomes to internal and external stakeholders using digital platforms and dashboards.

- Supporting the broader People & Community team to deliver a legacy of inclusion, opportunity, and impact.

About You

You’re a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, contractor-style environments and brings a flexible, solutions-focused mindset. You’re passionate about creating real-world outcomes and can confidently manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.

You’ll bring:

- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, economic development, or social procurement.

- A working knowledge of the Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP) and related frameworks.

- Experience working on major projects, infrastructure, or government programs (highly regarded).

- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage events, working groups, and reporting requirements.

- A collaborative approach and the ability to work across diverse communities and partners.
