15hr p/week - Monday to Friday from 3pm till 6pm

As a School Assistant, you will be an active member of a team providing high quality education and care in an after care and vacation care service for children of preschool age. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Actively supervise and effectively communicate with the children
  • Respond to the strengths, interests and needs of the children

  • Contribute to the recording of the observations of children's learning and development

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care would be a plus

  • ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an education and care setting
  • Knowledge of and understanding of the National Qualifications Standards and Early Years Learning Framework would be highly regarded
  • Speaking French would be a plus
