We have a current opportunity for a
Test and Evaluation Engineers
, on a contract basis within the Defence sector. These role are based in
Canberra, ACT
. The contract is for an
initial 12 month period, with a 2 x 12 month extension option.

Start: circa 07 October 2025

DSS Skill Set: Level 3 - Systems and Software Engineering - Testing and Evaluation (including verification and validation)

The T&E Engineerss will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Develop a T&E Work Plan each month.
  • Perform tasks and activities aligning to the T&E Work Plan.
  • Report progress against the T&E Work Plan on a monthly basis (T&E Monthly Work Plan Progress Report)
  • Deliver Reports and briefs, papers, consultation and advice.
  • Deliver Workshops and presentations.
  • Deliver Trial inputs and products covering the Planning, Conduct and Reporting phases of Test and Evaluation within the ODCS.
  • Establish and maintain registers.
  • Manage the delivery of prototypes.

Minimum mandatory requirements:

  • AGSVA Security clearance
  • Defence experience
  • Experience and qualified in Test and Evaluation (T&E) services (3 programs, which consist of 13 projects and 10 products)
