The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and adaptable person to join the Trade Credit & Surety claims team. The role of Claims Assessor will see you taking responsibility for the prompt and fair assessment of claims. You will be reporting directly into the Service Manager - Trade Credit & Surety, and working within a collaborative, supportive and dedicated team.
Your new role
- Process claims promptly and in compliance with regulations.
- Handle all written and verbal communications with customers.
- Maintain a strong customer service focus, especially in challenging situations.
- Support the implementation of the Claims strategy.
- Keep files, systems, and databases accurate to reflect the Claim Management process.
- Share competitor and market activity insights with the team, and actively engage in training and coaching to meet QBE and customer expectations.
About You
We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is commercially minded and solution focused.
- Claims experience in a specialist or financial insurance class is highly regarded.
- Background in insolvency, accounting, banking, or finance is highly regarded.
- Experience working with brokers and/or corporate customers is highly regarded.
- Strong customer-focused experience with analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and influence internal stakeholders.
- Team-oriented, resilient, and accountable, acting with integrity under pressure.
