About the Role:

As P&C Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Human Resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Champion a culture of inclusivity, wellbeing, and continuous improvement activities such as auditing and risk management across the organisation.
  • Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Support managers and staff through coaching, advice, and innovative HR solutions.
  • Drive employee engagement and recognition initiatives, ensuring all team members feel valued and heard.
  • Ensure policies and procedures comply with current legislation and reflect best practice.
  • Promote and facilitate a safe and supportive work environment for all employees.
  • Embody and promote the organisation's commitment to working without judgement and with compassion and respect.
  • Create and oversee sustainable return-to-work programs, while actively coaching leaders and collaborating with health professionals.
  • Industrial & Legislative Compliance – Ensure business practices comply with industrial instruments and employment law through proactive guidance and oversight.
  • Lead and manage HRIS (Workday).

About You

We are looking for a people-first leader who brings both strategic insight and a hands-on, empathetic approach to HR management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications, a minimum of a Certificate IV, Diploma, Degree in HR or other applicable post-graduate qualification in an associated discipline.
  • Significant experience in HR leadership, preferably within the not-for-profit, or community services sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience across all human resources activity functions and proven experience in leading a team of HR professionals.
  • A sound knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation, including in the context of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
  • Excellent people skills suitable for clients and staff at all levels.
  • Experience in change management, continuous improvement & auditing, organisational development, and supporting staff through periods of transformation.
  • A deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive workplace practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, integrity, and a commitment to ethical practice.
  • An ability to lead with empathy, inspire trust, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (preferably Workday) and advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • A current Drivers Licence.
  • Willingness to undergo NDIS Worker Screening Check.
