Waldie Transport is a family owned and operated Transport Company with its head office located in Somerton VIC. We specialize in the transportation of refrigerated and dry goods.

Due to business growth we now have an exciting opportunity for full time HC/MC truck drivers to join our team based in Vic.

Location: Immediate start

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Have a valid HC/MC Truck license
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Forklift license beneficial
  • Have experience in the transport industry
  • Be able to pass a medical
  • Maintain a neat/tidy appearance at all times and friendly attitude with good customer service skills.
  • Have a strong work ethic and be reliable, early morning starts a must
  • Be able to multi-task and think independently
  • Supply a copy of driver's license and – current VIC Roads print out
  • Demonstrate sound reading and writing skills

Your duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Participate in the loading and unloading of your vehicle
  • Daily Pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
  • Restraining loads correctly and safely
  • Completing and ensuring all required paperwork is collected, completed and handed in daily
