Float Driver

Downer has an opportunity for a Float Driver to join our Asphalt division, based at our Somerton depot. In this full time permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth transportation of asphalt laying equipment to and from various sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area. The role is ideal for someone with a strong commitment to safety, quality and team collaboration looking for a rewarding position in the asphalt industry.

About You:

• Valid HC Driver's Licence (minimum).
• Current General Construction Induction (White Card).
• Knowledge and understanding of Chain of Responsibiilty (CoR).
• Strong familiarity with the Melbourne metropolitan area.
• Ability to work on a rotating shift roster.
• Demonstrated initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A strong team player, capable of working efficiently with others.
• A committment to upholding Zero Harm culture at all times.
