About the Role

Trideca is seeking a Manual Tester to join our Digital Technology team in Melbourne. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of digital platforms, applications, and customer solutions through comprehensive manual testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Conduct functional, regression, system integration, user acceptance, and end-to-end testing across multiple digital platforms.
• Identify, log, and track software defects using defect-management tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure testing coverage and alignment with business requirements.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
• Provide clear, concise test documentation and support release activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Manual Tester or QA Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM).
• Proven experience testing web applications, HubSpot, APIs, data migration and data transformation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to utilities or energy-sector systems.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based platforms.
