That's why we're looking for a proactive and multi-talented Technical Security Officer to join our crew

About The Role:

This is a hands-on, hybrid role in the driver's seat of the company's information security. You'll lead, manage, and fine-tune our security systems, ensuring ISO 27001 standards are met and driving the organization to achieve and maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance. You'll secure applications (C#/React), cloud infrastructure (AWS), and corporate endpoints, building a high-performance, auditable security program that runs smoothly under any conditions.

And yes, you get to enjoy our awesome beachside office. Gold Coast stereotypes are correct - our crew surf at lunch and hike on the weekends.

Must-have experience:

• At least 3-5+ years' experience in a technical security role (e.g., Security Engineer, AppSec, Cloud Security).
• Compliance: Direct, hands-on experience managing a security framework (ISO and/or participating in audit cycles (SOC 2, PCI, etc.).
• Software Development: Demonstrable programming experience, ideally with C# and/or TypeScript/React.
• Application Security: Proven experience with SAST/DAST tools (e.g., SonarQube) and a track record of remediating code-level vulnerabilities.
• Cloud Security: Strong, practical experience with AWS security services (GuardDuty, WAF, IAM, Security Hub, etc.).
• Endpoint Management: Proven experience with endpoint security and managing Windows/macOS devices (e.g., MDM solutions like Intune, Jamf, or similar).
• Strong understanding of BCP/DR planning and testing methodologies.
• Steers complex security projects with precision, translating technical gears into easy-to-drive insights for all stakeholders.
• IT/Computer Science Degree or comparable industry experience.

Nice to have:

• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, AWS Security - Specialty) are highly regarded.
