As we expand, we're looking for a dynamic Packing & Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our food packaging team.

Role Overview:

Based at our Glen Iris kitchen and warehouse, you will assist in managing a small, dedicated team to ensure the smooth operation of our packaging department. Your responsibilities will range from supervising day-to-day activities like picking and packing orders, labelling packaging, and supporting the chefs in food prep, to maintaining stock levels in freezers and cool rooms. You will also oversee the cleanliness of our production facility and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on position, requiring strong organizational, time management, and coordination skills. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, well-presented, and a great communicator. You must have a positive, proactive attitude, take pride in your work, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience in food packaging is preferred.

Working Hours:

This is a Tuesday to Saturday,role. 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday – Friday and 9:00 AM – 5:00PM Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 5-10 packaging staff, providing coaching, development, and recognition to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Ensure that operational areas meet Food Safety and Product Quality KPIs.
  • Oversee production output, manage stock levels, and ensure all packaging tasks are completed to specification.
  • Implement strategies to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of labor costs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in packing, warehousing, or food production (FMCG / ready-made meals experience preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and food presentation standards.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under time pressure.
  • Basic stock management and data entry skills.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements (HACCP awareness desirable).
  • Ability to lead small teams and provide clear direction.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling safely.
  • Positive, proactive, and reliable team member with strong communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business growth and changing demands.
