MEDISCA is a fast-paced global pharmaceutical company. We have facilities in North America, Australia and Europe, employ over 450 staff globally and service the US, Canada, Asia Pacific, The Middle East, Europe and the UK.

We are on the hunt for a Quality Associate to join our team. If you have some experience with quality procedures and are looking to establish your career in pharmaceuticals, then this is the perfect role for you  If you are an enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for quality, we want you on our leading quality team.

As a Quality Associate your main goal is to assist in maintaining the quality management system according to Standard Operating Procedures and TGA and NSW Health guidelines. You will be ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of a wide range of quality tasks, so attention to detail and innovative thinking is a must 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, quarantining and releasing products
  • Inspection and release of materials
  • Conduct complaint investigations
  • Conduct and assist in deviations, NCMR, change control and all other quality investigations as required
  • Maintain facilities Environmental Monitoring Systems
  • Maintain facilities equipment calibration schedules and liaise with third party contractors
  • Write, amend and collaborate on internal Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide support to production team as required
  • Assist in collating data for monthly KPI reporting
  • Execution of facility and equipment validation studies
  • Other administrative tasks and projects as required

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Science discipline required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment
  • Understanding of TGA GMP and NSW Health guidelines
  • Attention to detail and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English (oral & written) required
  • Proven decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required

To be eligible for this position you must be an Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Please note this role involves mandatory drug & alcohol testing.
