About the role

The Quality Assurance Associate will work collaboratively as a member of the Scientific Affairs team, to ensure the products supplied to our customers meets the relevant regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and our internal quality standards.

We are looking for a critical thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills and the desire to learn. While some of the work is routine, due to the diversity of our portfolio this role provides a broad range of challenges. Responsibilities
  • Perform release for distribution and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of product quality.
  • Proactive problem solving skills, the ability to collaborate, and a strong customer focus will be key to success.
  • Key stakeholders include internal Supply Chain and Logistics teams, and external service providers including 3PL warehouses, suppliers and GMP service providers.
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance, or a related role, in the pharmaceutical industry. Practical experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or packaging will be highly regarded.
  • Understands and able to apply the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and the QA/QC systems associated with the manufacture of medicines.
  • Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on quality in all work and activities.
  • Critical thinker with exceptional problem solving skills. Familiar with quality risk management principles.
  • Well-developed organisation and time-management skills with an ability to balance and prioritise a variety of tasks and competing demands, in order to manage workflow efficiently and meet critical time frames.
  • Proven self-direction with the skills to be resourceful and the ability to exercise discretion and judgement in working independently and as part of a team.
