By joining our high performing team in Darwin, you will be part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing outstanding service, strategic thinking and claims support, specifically in the common law and recoveries portfolios.

We are seeking a Team Manager on a 12-month maternity leave contract, based in our Darwin office.

About The Role

• Effectively lead a team of individuals to deliver key claims management objectives and critical service standards with particular emphasis on new claims
• Understand key performance drivers and identify opportunities to continuously improve team performance
• Utilise your technical (legislative and policy) knowledge to ensure quality claims management decisions are delivered by your team
• Ensure MACC Key Performance indicators and claimant expectations are either met or exceeded
• Lead, engage, and support your team during periods of business change

About You

• Extensive experience with a no-fault statutory motor accident compensation scheme
• Expertise in team leadership and a proven track record of driving high performance
• Experience in business planning and execution
• Innovative thinking – creative ideas that improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Demonstrated ability for developing strong customer relationships and effectively resolving customer complaints
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
