Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with the Parks and Gardens, Slashing, Civil and Fencing, Industrial, and Vegetation Management teams to undertake scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance of public and private spaces, including parks, gardens, streets, cemeteries, medians, and roadsides, while upholding high standards of service and presentation.


• Operate plant/equipment efficiently and safely to ensure satisfactory completion of assigned duties.


• Check and maintain equipment in accordance with company policy and procedure.


• Report matters that could be of a danger to members of the public i.e.: low limbs, broken glass, damaged fencing.


• Comply with Company procedures and practices with respect to Health and Safety, personnel practices, and conditions of employment.


• To continually act in a manner that upholds and promotes the company's integrity and culture during work hours and beyond work hours.

Duties:


• Daily prestart checks and inspection reports on plant and equipment being used.


• Brush-cutting, mowing, hedging, herbicide spraying and litter collection.


• Daily maintenance of machinery/vehicle used during the day as per maintenance schedule.


• Support the company team effort by performing delegated tasks and activities as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


• Current drivers' licence. "C" Class Minimum


• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Preferred Skills:


• Adaptable and flexible in changing environments


• Ability to work inclusively and as part of a team


• Ability to work autonomously and with initiative


• Ability to exercise leadership if/when required
