We care about the wellbeing of our pets, and the environment, and we know our customers do too. FibreCycle manufactures and sells a number of leading cat litter, pet treat and bird seed products.
With seven manufacturing plants, in Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and in the UK, and a worldwide network of distributors and retailers, our products are sold in over 20 countries worldwide.
With a lofty ambition and a strong strategic plan in place, we are on the precipice of an exciting customer and consumer led transformation.
About the Role
The past few years have been a whirlwind of success, and with even more ambitious growth plans ahead, we're only just getting started
We are looking for an experienced Production Administration Team Lead which will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all administrative, office, and support processes across the Toowoomba and South Australia Paper sites along with the Toowoomba Bird Treats site.
This role provides operational and strategic administrative leadership, supports the production and supply chain teams, and ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. The position is key to maintaining business efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, speed, and collaboration are critical.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working on a number of things, including but not limited to:
- Lead and support the administration team to deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders across manufacturing, logistics, and sales functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.
- Oversee daily administrative operations including order processing, inventory reporting, document control, and logistics coordination support.
- Maintain accurate data and records to support production schedules, supplier orders, and customer dispatch requirements.
- Develop, document, and optimise administrative procedures to support operational efficiency.
- Manage communication between the production, warehouse, sales, and finance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor and reconcile purchase orders, supplier invoices, and expense claims to support financial accuracy.
- Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and reporting for operational departments.
- Manage supplier contracts, renewals, and compliance with service-level agreements.
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders for projects, reporting, and business planning.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce administrative errors and increase productivity.
- This is an exciting chance to carve out your own path as we continue to build brands that consumers love.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate (you) will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administration leadership position
- Solid knowledge of managing administrative functions
- Strong leadership and people management capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (specifically SAP)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative or office management role, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics
- Excellent attention to detail
- Expert organisation and time management skills
We are looking for team players, the difference makers, the people who care about what we do and the people we work with, and the ones who want more than 'just a job'.
We want the people who are seeking a long-term future within a thriving company and the ones who want to grow with us.
In return for your hard work, commitment, and your can-do attitude, we offer you a career-making opportunity as part of a small, supportive and ambitious team, who back ourselves (and each other) to tackle challenges head on, and stand up for what we believe in.
We will never waver from our commitment to be kind to our pets and the planet, and we won't compromise on our standards.
We offer a fun work environment, based in Toowoomba. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
