Onemda We are looking for an experienced part-time or full-time (0.8 FTE - 1 FTE) Speech Pathologist working across our Doncaster East and Glenroy campuses.

What this role involves

We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic Therapy Services team. You will deliver evidence-based, person-centred therapy that makes a tangible difference in people's lives. You will also have opportunities to contribute to innovation projects, support team development and help shape the future of therapy at Onemda.

You will be responsible to:

  • Deliver high quality, evidence-based speech pathology assessments and interventions
  • Develop tailored, goal oriented therapy plans in partnership with participants and their families
  • Support communication, mealtime and swallowing needs through clinical expertise
  • Prepare detailed reports, referrals and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in program evaluation, reviews and innovative therapy initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively within multi-and inter-disciplinary teams
  • Champion evidence-based practice and continuous improvement in all aspects of care

Eligibility:

To deliver what we need in this role, you will be:

  • Experience: minimum 2 years experience in an Speech Pathologist position (ideally in a disability environment)
  • Registration: AHPRA registration
  • Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers' Screening Check.
  • Knowledge and understanding: You will be across the essential principles of the NDIS
