Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' speech, language and swallowing.
  • Implement personalised and evidence-based intervention to adult and/or paediatric clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, parents, and healthcare professionals, to coordinate and optimize intervention strategies.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Offer guidance and support to clients and their families, educating them on effective strategies and techniques for continued improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field of speech pathology, attending professional development activities and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Membership in the Speech Pathology Association (SPA) or a willingness to obtain membership.
