The role:

As a Speech Pathologist, you'll deliver evidence-based, person-centred therapy that supports individuals to communicate more effectively and achieve their personal goals. You'll assess, plan, and implement tailored interventions addressing speech, language, swallowing, and assistive technology needs. Working collaboratively with families and support networks, you'll help participants identify meaningful goals, advocate for necessary resources, and ensure interventions are effective and empowering. Your role also involves maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, managing caseloads efficiently, and contributing to continuous service improvement within a multidisciplinary team.

You'll play a key role in developing the skills and confidence of colleagues and students through supervision and mentoring. In addition, you'll contribute to quality and innovation projects that enhance the therapy service and align with organisational values. By embedding best-practice principles and fostering inclusive, respectful relationships, you'll help create an environment that promotes learning, safety, and professional excellence.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology
• Registration with SPA
• Current Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
• Driving License
