The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is seeking a full-time, office-based Customer Service Representative / Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Coffs Harbour team. Proudly Australian-made since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have shaped our nation — from corrugated roofing on homes to large commercial and industrial projects. Our product range includes COLORBOND steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater goods, fascia and gutter systems, fencing, carports and patios.
As a Customer Service Representative / Showroom Sales Consultant, you'll be the face of Lysaght for our customers, both over the phone and in our showroom. You'll provide advice and solutions, manage orders and quotations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience every time. With the support of a strong leadership team, you'll also have opportunities to grow your skills and career at BlueScope.
What Will You Do?
Working with a friendly, inclusive team, you'll:
- welcome and assist customers in our showroom with product advice and solutions
- handle sales and service enquiries via phone and email
- enter customer orders accurately and efficiently into our systems
- manage quotations and follow up enquiries to convert into sales opportunities
- collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, warehouse, and sales, to meet customer needs around specifications, packaging and delivery timelines
- look for ways to continuously improve the customer experience and value proposition
More About You
You'll bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, along with:
- previous experience in customer service, showroom sales, or a similar environment
- strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- a customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- proficiency with MS Office and computer systems
- experience with, or comfort learning to, analyse plans and specifications to prepare estimated material requirements, using our internal CAD system to generate designs and quotations
