Join Our Team at Metropolitan Memorial Parks:

We're seeking enthusiastic people to join our team across four locations in NSW: Matraville, Sutherland, Rookwood and Macquarie Park. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the beauty and dignity of our memorial parks, including grounds maintenance, gardening, turf maintenance and soft landscaping.

About our roles:

Grounds

  • Undertake physical works, including manual labour and operation of plant and machinery
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of grounds maintenance
  • Horticulture qualifications or plant and machinery VOCs desirable but not essential

Burials

  • Prepare burial sites, including excavation and grave preparation, as a burials technician
  • Ensure all work is carried out with respect and dignity for the deceased and their families

Requirements:

  • Physically able to undertake manual labour and work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve results
  • Provide excellent customer service to families and visitors in a respectful and considerate manner
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a sensitive environment, with a focus on respect and dignity for the deceased and their families
