About the Parenting Research Centre
A winner of a 'Best Workplace Award' in 2021, 2023 & 2025, The Parenting Research Centre (PRC) is an independent non-profit organisation that works with government and community agencies to provide evidence-based solutions to support families in their parenting and improve outcomes for children.
Raising Children Network
Raising Children Network (RCN) is one of our flagship programs and is a collaboration between the PRC and Murdoch Children's Research Institute. Since 2005 RCN has been funded by the Australian Government to develop the website and a range of related digital products offering comprehensive and evidence-based parenting information. These highly regarded resources offer Australian parents and carers trusted, reliable, free information on everyday parenting issues from pregnancy right through to teens.

Specifically some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Repurpose evidence-based content into a wide range of social media assets, including infographics, video shorts and carousel posts
• Monitor social media channels, conduct proactive and reactive community management, respond to comments and queries and foster a positive online community
• Assist in the development and execution of social media content using planning tools and the Hootsuite scheduling tool
• Assist in the creation, execution and optimisation of paid ad campaigns across all platforms
• Track key performance metrics for organic and paid activity and assist in the preparation of monthly performance reports

You'll be comfortable using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and have hands on experience in video production and editing tailored for social media audiences.
Importantly, you will have the ability to repurpose evidence-based content into engaging social media formats as well as experience in managing and optimising paid social media campaigns. An understanding of analytics and campaign reporting is essential and experience with GA4 will be highly regarded.
You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additionally, you will demonstrate excellent time management and be able to juggle competing priorities effectively.
About the Benefits

• A supportive, flexible and autonomous working environment;
• 5 weeks leave each year with the option to purchase additional leave;
