The IGS Early Learning Centre (ELC) encourages children 3-5 years to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language, and music - our school's unique offerings.

The ELC welcomes children from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our dynamic early learning team. This is a full-time, temporary position covering a staff member on leave and will commence October 2025 to July 2026.

Essential criteria:

• ACECQA recognised university qualification in Early Childhood Teaching
• Current NESA registration
• Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications
• Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training or willingness to obtain
• Safe Food Supervisor qualifications or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated understanding of current early education and care legislation regulations and pedagogy including the EYLF and Reggio Emilia approach
• High level interpersonal skills, demonstrated initiative and proactive problem solving ability
• Demonstrated strengths-based approach in working with children, families and colleagues
• Current WWCC
• Sound computer skills
