Role Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Airport Operations Manager to lead our team and oversee the smooth, safe and efficient running of our airport operations. This is a critical leadership role where you will ensure excellence across safety, service, operational performance and people development while representing our airline within the airport.

The successful candidate must have the flexibility to proactively anticipate changing priorities and have a hands-on approach.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day airport operations, ensuring compliance with all safety, security and quality standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint
  • Drive operational excellence in areas such as safety management, on-time performance, baggage handling and contingency planning.
  • Inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration
  • Manage suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and high service standards.
  • Oversee station budgets and costs, driving efficiencies without compromising safety or quality
  • Maintaining strong relationships with authorities, industry partners and stakeholders
  • Lead crisis and disruption management plans, ensuring operational continuity and care for our customers
  • Partner with regional and head office teams to deliver company-wide initiatives and local improvement projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' airport operations/customer service experience, including 2+ years in management
  • Strong knowledge of airport regulations and safety standards
  • Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Budget and supplier management experience
  • High level of professionalism and computer literacy
