Afterschool & Weekend Coding Educator

Locations: Point Cook, Werribee

We're looking for enthusiastic educators with a digital technology or coding background to join our growing team at
Rocket Academy
.

About the Role

  • Lead small-group
    coding and robotics workshops
    for primary school students during
    weekends (11am–3pm; must be available)
    and
    after-school hours on weekdays (3–6pm; flexible)
    .
  • Deliver
    fun, structured sessions
    that keep students engaged and inspired.
  • Encourage kids to
    explore, problem-solve, and think creatively
    through hands-on challenges.
  • Manage the class to ensure a
    positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
    .

What We're Looking For

Experience in class or group management (schools, childcare, camps, workshops).

Fun, energetic, and engaging personality – you make learning exciting

Great communication skills and a genuine love for working with kids.

Interest in coding, robotics, or STEM (training provided).

Must have a valid
Working With Children Check
(or be willing to obtain).

Own car and driver's licence to travel to class locations.
