Overview
Brand Warrior is a creative marketing and sales agency working with clients in wine, tourism, retail, and hospitality. Our team combines marketing, creative and sales expertise to deliver high-impact solutions that take our clients' brands to national and international audiences. The Client Sales Lead will work closely with the Sales Director and Co-Owner, Dan Killey, managing their own portfolio of global wine clients while also supporting Dan with broader sales initiatives. The role involves collaboration across the marketing and creative pillars of the business, ensuring all client projects deliver strategic, creative and commercially successful outcomes.
The Role
This is a client-facing sales role with dual focus: managing a portfolio of domestic and international wine clients and providing support to the Sales Director on broader initiatives. You'll help drive revenue, foster strong client relationships, and coordinate with marketing and creative teams to deliver work that is on-brand, on-brief, and commercially impactful.
Duties & Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of wine clients.
- Understand client goals, market challenges, and brand positioning to provide tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for your portfolio while supporting Dan on larger client initiatives as required.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure deliverables align with client objectives and brand strategy.
Sales & Business Growth
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the domestic wine trade.
- Support the Sales Director in delivering tastings, presentations, and trade events.
- Maintain and grow revenue from existing clients through strategic upselling and cross-pillar collaboration.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client performance to inform strategic recommendations.
Reporting & Administration / Collaboration
- Collaborate with the team through Microsoft Teams channels, which are organised by client, project, or internal initiatives, ensuring smooth communication across sales, marketing, and creative teams.
- Maintain visibility of tasks and progress using Asana and track time with Everhour, supporting accountability and efficiency across the business.
About You
- Experienced in wine sales or related client-facing roles.
- Commercially minded, results-driven, and highly client-focused.
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across marketing and creative teams.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects, prioritising tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Hands-on exposure to project management and time-tracking tools such as Asana and Everhour is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in your decision-making.
