A fantastic opportunity to join a global luxury fragrance and beauty house with a strong heritage and premium positioning. Located in Sydney's QVB, the brand is known for its craftsmanship, storytelling, and customer experience.

Your new role

This role suits a retail leader with strong commercial acumen, a passion for fragrance and beauty, and a proven ability to drive performance through people. You'll oversee the full operations of their flagship store, leading a team of five people:

  • Drive sales targets and implement business strategies using sales data.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and manage client relationships.
  • Manage all in-store events.
  • Oversee store operations including inventory, cash handling, and staffing.
  • Implement merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
  • Work with the Education team to deliver all training programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and OH&S standards.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance using internal systems.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 4+ years experience in retail management, with experience in beauty, fragrance, or luxury retail preferred.
  • Strong operational and team leadership skills, with a commercial mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with the rest of the team and retail partners (i.e. Head Office Staff, Marketing & Commercial Departments, Brand Ambassadors, and Retail teams).
  • Flexibility and availability to work a varied roster in line with store trading hours, including regular extended late-night trade and weekends.
  • Confident in managing a team and overseeing inventory and compliance.
  • Passion for fragrance and customer experience.
