About the role

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance with all aspects of loan documentation, settlements and file custody in accordance with the Banks' standards. Reporting to the Credit Operations Team Leader, key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare Settlement documentation by reviewing and verifying against business requirements
  • Act as an internal and external escalation point to ensure Settlements are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Liaise and support our internal sales staff and external business partners in day to day operations
  • Prepare, review, and verify loan documents in accordance with credit approvals and established procedures, ensuring full compliance with all terms and conditions
  • Processing of discharge of securities and consents
  • Action emails and requests by internal and external parties in a timely manner
  • Oversee documentation management, including customer records, transaction files, security and mortgage documents, and any other relevant files
  • Collaborate with external solicitors, business units and clients to ensure smooth loan processing
  • Assisting Credit Operations team when required with loan maintenance

We're seeking a results-driven, passionate professional who is ready to take the role and make it their own. You'll bring:

  • Banking, credit and/or legal background of 1 to 3 years
  • Solid understanding of the mortgage process
  • Help identify, simplify and enhance process improvements to ensure a fantastic customer experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to time-manage, work under pressure and meet deadlines
