About the Role

The Church Outreach Centre Administrator is a key point of contact at the Ocean Grove Church and Dove Op Shop, and provides general administration services to support ministry, church council and congregation.  The role provides customer service, coordinates supplies and facilities maintenance,  and ensures a safe and tidy workplace.  The role provides support for worship services, correspondence and events, and undertakes bookkeeping, banking, and records management.

A key responsibility is the coordination of volunteers, completing rosters and supporting volunteer engagement within the Church and the Op Shop.

This is a permanent part-time position (15 hours per week), based in Ocean Grove, Victoria.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Qualifications in administration, business, bookkeeping or similar
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience coordinating volunteers would be an advantage
  • Willingness to manage social media and websites is desirable

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Working with Children Check
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • Undergo a national Police Check before commencement
