Your new company

A high-impact opportunity is available for an experienced APS6 ICT Procurement & Contract Manager to join a government organisation through a Section 26 transfer.

Your new role

In this role, you'll lead and support end-to-end ICT procurement activities from initial analysis through to contract negotiation and management. You'll work across multiple concurrent procurements, ensuring delivery is timely, cost-effective, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

You'll also provide expert advice in business areas, build procurement capability, and support contract formation and supplier performance management.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading end-to-end procurement processes including market engagement, evaluation, and contracting
  • Providing high-level advice to internal stakeholders to improve procurement outcomes
  • Supporting contract negotiations and managing procurement risks
  • Maintaining full documentation for audit and probity purposes
  • Managing renewals and extensions for hardware, labour hire, professional services, and software licencing
    I.e. (Microsoft VSA, Adobe ETLA)

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end ICT procurement and contract management
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth procurement rules and frameworks
  • Experience managing ICT contract renewals and extensions
  • Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) is highly desirable.
