Generators Australia is the leading supplier of Solar and Hybrid Lighting Towers, Hybrid Generators, Lithium Battery Storage Units, Solar Security Cameras, and Diesel Generators, with our core business being the rental and sale of these products.

Generators Australia's inhouse design and development of renewable products using Lithium and Solar provides a variety of equipment solutions to a wide range of Construction, Civil Mining, Services and Event sectors.

An opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Trade / Service Technician to join the team based in Yatala on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be hardworking and motivated, customer service-focused, and have a positive can-do attitude.

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, the duties of this role will include;

  • Performing regular maintenance, repairs, inspections
  • Developing excellent working relationships based upon mutual respect with all customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining our fleet to the manufacturer, company, and Australian standards.
  • Workshop based duties, field servicing at our client's sites when required.
  • Understanding and working effectively within the policies, procedures, and systems processes.
  • Maintaining a strong safety focus

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Communication, Respect and Continuous Improvement. In addition to this they will have;

  • Qualifications in a mechanical trade are essential.
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Assertiveness, tenacity with a demonstrated sense of urgency, determination, and resilience
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic, ever-changing environment effectively, with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and be self-motivated.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical test, including drug and alcohol testing.
