Service Technician Required for An Immediate Start

Yatala, Australia IPA Personnel Services Full time

Our client is one of the largest residential window manufacturers in Australia Established 35 years ago, they have recently expanded their product range and as a result are looking to add experienced **Technicians & Assistant Technicians** to their team.

**The role will have you doing the following (not limited to)**:
- Complete a full range of service and maintenance tasks on sites unassisted, including screen installation, glazing and installation of all oversized products.
- Show an aptitude for service tasks including the required level of technical ability. This includes problem solving of site issues within the team and using initiative where possible.
- Ensure all Service procedures, policies and legislative requirements are adhered to.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe working condition.
- Must be well presented as you will be the face of the company
- Continually develop both personally and professionally to meet the changing needs of your position, career & industry
- Assist with loading materials and stocking the vans to ensure load time is minimised to 30minutes or less
- Ensure that service procedures, policies and legislative requirements are adhered to

**Working in the Production Team you will possess the following attributes**:

- Experience in window manufacturing industry
- Experience in aluminium machining
- Experience using power & hand tools
- Prior experience using air tools
- Must come from a manufacturing background
- Physical ability for repetitive heavy lifting and moving stock
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- **Own reliable transport a **MUST**:

- Be prepared to have a medical after 4 weeks includes Drug & Alcohol testing
- Ability to identify faults in workmanship and poor-quality products
- Ability to meet scheduled time frames for job completion
- Ensure all tasks are performed within specified safety guidelines
