About the Role
At Summit Homes Group, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Scheduler to join our Renovations & Developments team. In this role, you'll be responsible for interpreting contract documentation and producing accurate construction schedules that support the successful delivery of high-quality renovation and development projects. Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes for our clients by aligning materials, trades, and project timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting working drawings, engineering plans, and client documentation
- Preparing and maintaining accurate construction schedules
- Coordinating materials and trade resources to align with build timelines
- Collaborating with estimators, site supervisors, and procurement teams
- Supporting continuous improvement of scheduling systems and templates
About You
You are a highly organised and detail-focused professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential construction scheduling or a similar role. You have strong mathematical and logical reasoning skills and are confident working with construction documentation to create precise and timely schedules. Your ability to prioritise, stay proactive, and thrive under pressure ensures you can manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A solid understanding of residential construction processes
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in scheduling systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
