Job Description:

Are you an experienced finance professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy? We're seeking a Financial Accountant to support the delivery of reliable financial reporting and ensure our accounting processes run smoothly across our group entities.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this hands-on role is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing monthly reports, managing taxation compliance, and assisting with statutory reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee the maintenance of general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers, and cash books across multiple entities


• Prepare monthly financial statements, analysis, and management reports


• Complete monthly reconciliations and assist with budgeting and forecasting


• Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure accurate recording of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation


• Manage and prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax lodgements


• Support half-year and year-end statutory reporting, including liaising with external auditors


• Contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes and internal controls

What We're Looking For:


• Degree qualified – Account or Business


• CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)


• At least 4 years' experience in a similar finance role


• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail


• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (Microsoft Business Central preferred)


• Knowledge of Power BI and report writing (advantageous)


• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
