Our mission is simple yet impactful: to help people thrive—our clients, our team, and the communities we serve.

The Role
We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our Corporate Bookkeeping team in Melbourne. Our team is driven, passionate, and eager to grow, and we're looking for a leader who can inspire great outcomes for both clients and the team (both on and offshore). You'll bring strong experience in managing diverse stakeholders and delivering tailored solutions.

Our portfolio includes a wide range of clients—from SMBs and large payrolls to NFPs and private wealth clients—providing the opportunity to apply your expertise across varied industries and requirements.

You'll build and nurture client relationships while leading a high-performing, growing team. Managing your own portfolio, you'll develop a deep understanding of each client's needs and work closely with Directors and Managers to ensure the team consistently provides excellent corporate bookkeeping services, guidance, and advice.

  • Inspiring and Empowering Teams: Lead with purpose, motivating and supporting your team to perform at their best while fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Building Relationships: Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with clients, colleagues, and team members to drive collaboration and long-term success.
  • Becoming a Trusted Business Advisor: Provide proactive, commercially driven insights and advice tailored to complex client needs, positioning yourself as a key partner in their success.
  • Lead Compliance and Quality Assurance: Partner with both the on and offshore team to ensure our delivery is compliant, meets financial and quality targets and is delivered in a timely way.
  • Managing Technical Portfolio of Work: Being the technical expert in reconciliations, AP, AR, Payroll, BAS and IAS, month-end reconciliations, and management reporting
  • Delivering Real-Time Results: Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, ensuring key deadlines and budget expectations are consistently met.
  • Building New Opportunities: Play an active role in business development through networking, preparing proposals, and presenting to potential new clients.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives that enhance team performance and technical competency to continuously evolve the Corporate Bookkeeping service offering.

About You

  • 8-10 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role in a professional services accounting firm (preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, managing, and inspiring teams to deliver high quality client outcomes
  • Exceptional business acumen to deliver value-add advice and meet the firm's growth KPIs.
  • Client-centric approach with the proven ability to manage large portfolios of work and deliver exceptional end-to-end client experience.
  • Professional certification - Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
