Country Cubs Preschool & Long Day Care is seeking a full-time suitably qualified Early Childhood Teacher.

Country Cubs Long Day Care is a privately owned service which has been operating for over 20 years. Caring for and educating children aged 2-5 years.

This role is supported by a full-time ECT (Educational Leader) currently employed at the service.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will deliver, and implement inclusive, individual learning-based programs.

You will guide and assist other educators to deliver high quality educational programs based on the EYLF.

Opportunities exist for ongoing professional development and mentoring programs to assist you to fill your role.

To be successful in this role you need:

  • To be enthusiastic in the care and education of young children.
  • Have the ability to work in a team environment and have a passion for working with children.
  • Previous experienced in a similar role is desired.

What you will do:

  • Assist in delivering a challenging and supportive educational program to children aged 2 to 5 years.
  • Create a friendly, stimulating and secure learning environment.
  • Develop positive and caring relationships with children.

Min qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification. As recognised by ACECQA .

Solid understanding of NQS, NQF and EYLF.

Worker Retention Payment offers 10% - 15% above Award Wages. With additional employer incentives offered to the right candidate.

You will need to apply for a Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
