About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with delivery leaders and engineering teams to build scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices that support strategic initiatives. You'll play a key role in uplifting engineering capabilities, driving quality, automation, and security while mentoring others and leading technical best practice adoption.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and support high-quality software solutions across web, API, and microservice.
  • Provide technical leadership in automation, CI/CD, configuration management, and monitoring practices.
  • Embed secure software development principles through code reviews and threat modelling.
  • Coach and mentor engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse system requirements, create technical designs, and ensure robust testing across all phases.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience. Technical leadership is a plus.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and front-end development using ReactJS.
  • Proven Testing skills and ATDD or Behavioural Driven Development.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
