We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Volunteers Support Officer to join our team

What You Will Do:

As a Casual Volunteers Support Officer, you will play a vital role in fostering community involvement in our green spaces. You will step in during staff absences, assist in the coordination of weekly volunteer programs, and facilitate occasional weekend activities, all designed to improve and maintain our cherished natural environments.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in horticulture or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in land management and conservation principles.

  • Experience in developing community engagement.

  • Current Working with Children Check Blue Card or ability to obtain.

  • Practical experience in building and maintaining constructive relationships and activities with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in the identification and treatment of environmental weed species.

  • A proven ability to work in physically demanding environments.

  • Demonstrated planning and leadership skills including negotiation skills in terms of facilitating favourable community outcomes.
