Casual Business Support Officer role available for work within a local government department working as a casual A03 level paying $49.40.

You will be working in a fast-paced office and you need to have intermediate to advanced level of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Start: ASAP
End: August 1 - Possibility of extensions for the right candidate
Pay: AO3 $49.40 (Casual Rates)
Hours: approx. 38 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working independently
  • Intermediate to advanced excel
  • Basic accounts knowledge would be an advantage

Duties:

  • Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customers
  • Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
  • Willingness to work within a fast-paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance.
  • Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture while being prepared to perform recurring work.
  • Be dedicated to customer satisfaction, and within boundaries, develop an outcome which achieves both customer and business objectives.
  • Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e. in Ellipse and Microsoft Office).
  • Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures.
  • Effectively undertake general administration functions as required.
