About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our timber processing facility in Narangba. This role involves performing maintenance activities, including breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance, fabrication and project work. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with a fantastic team in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our timber processing equipment.

  • Handle breakdown repairs efficiently and effectively.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and assist with fabrication and project work.

About you

  • Trade certified in Mechanical Engineering, fitting and turning, welding or equivalent.

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is essential.

  • Timber industry experience is highly regarded.
