Narangba, Australia Roy Gripske and Sons Full time

As an independent wholesale provider of parts and accessories to the outdoor power equipment industry, we require a Mechanical Fitter to work as part of our production team where you will oversee the fitting and assembly of metal blades, parts and small componentry items under the safe operation of various types of light and heavy machinery. Responsibilities will include;
- Assembly and fitting of componentry
- Study drawings / specifications to determine methods and sequence of operations
- Check prepared components for accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
- Inspect, clean, lubricate and undertake general maintenance of machinery to ensure production quality
- Shrink fit parts for assembly using oxyacetylene torches and presses

$30p/h for a 38 hour working week, Monday - Friday.

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Narangba, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
