Business Development Manager
to drive growth in the
express and courier logistics segment
.

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for
acquiring new express logistics clients
, growing revenue, and building strong partnerships across Melbourne and the wider Australian market, with a strong focus on
express, courier, and last-mile delivery solutions
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities in
    express, courier, and last-mile logistics
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline targeting
    e-commerce, retail, SME, and enterprise clients
  • Develop customized
    express delivery solutions
    based on client needs
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and SLA delivery
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis within the Australian logistics market
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Represent iMile at industry events, client meetings, and networking sessions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in
    business development or sales within express, courier, or last-mile logistics
  • Strong understanding of
    same-day, next-day, and express delivery models
  • Proven track record of
    new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Existing network within
    logistics, e-commerce, retail, or express courier markets
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Based in
    Melbourne
    or willing to travel as required

Preferred

  • Experience working with
    express couriers, parcel delivery, or e-commerce logistics providers
  • Knowledge of
    Australian logistics regulations and market dynamics
  • Experience selling
    B2B logistics solutions
