The Lane Group is a long-standing, multi-franchise dealership group proudly serving Mandurah and its surroundings. We are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Parts Interpreter to join our high-performing team.

Your role is to run the Parts counter and support our Service Department and Sales Department, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of parts to our technicians and valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, email and over-the-counter enquiries
  • Accurately identify and supply automotive parts using electronic catalogues and DMS
  • Prepare and processing quotes, orders, invoices and warranty claims
  • Source, order and receive parts, ensuring timely delivery to the workshop and retail clients
  • Maintain correct stock levels through effective stock control and inventory management
  • Liaise with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts on time
  • Maintain clean, organised parts displays and a tidy workspace
  • Support showroom merchandising and promotional displays
  • Assist with stock takes and compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Provide technical advice on parts and accessories to customers when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter role (preferably within a dealership or trade environment)
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and genuine vs aftermarket parts
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to build rapport with technicians and trade clients
  • Current driver's licence (manual licence preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Titan DMS or similar systems highly regarded
