Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer | Sydney

Your new company

As the Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-level server, network, and infrastructure solutions to a diverse client base. This is a hands-on, project-focused role where you'll work alongside a skilled and collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust, secure, and scalable systems-making a direct impact on client outcomes.

This position offers exposure to a broad range of technologies, including cloud platforms, virtualisation, and cybersecurity frameworks. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and wants to continue growing in a technically challenging environment.

The role is based in North-West Sydney, with the flexibility to work from home 4 days per week.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in infrastructure design and implementation, particularly across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems including virtualisation (Hyper-V), storage, and server infrastructure
  • Previous experience in a project-focused role within an MSP or similar fast-paced environment (highly desirable)
  • Proficiency in networking technologies such as VLANs, LAG, VPNs, switching, and traffic prioritisation
  • Ability to design and deploy secure, business-grade wireless networks
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, desktops, and networks
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk assessment and remediation aligned with frameworks like the Essential Eight
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven environments and secure IT practices
