We are expanding our SHAPE Modular offering and seeking a Project Manager to lead the safe, profitable, timely and quality delivery of our modular construction projects in South Australia. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of multiple modular projects from pre-construction to handover.

You'll oversee:

  • End-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with building standards and specifications.
  • Leading and mentoring the project team, fostering their growth and career development.
  • Managing head contracts, subcontracts, and negotiations.
  • Conducting tender interviews and awarding contracts.
  • Overseeing project delivery systems and ensuring adherence to EHSQ standards.
  • Managing project finances to ensure profitability.
  • Developing and managing detailed project programmes.

This role will be based at our SHAPE Adelaide office and our Modular Facility based in Ottoway.

About you

We're seeking a natural leader who is deeply passionate about modular construction and committed to delivering exceptional results. Experience in modular construction is preferred. You will have:

  • Proven leadership skills, with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comprehensive project management experience within the construction industry (modular, manufacturing, fit-out, and refurbishment experience is a bonus).
  • A keen understanding of building specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHSQ principles and a commitment to safety.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and an ability to perform under pressure.
