The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the service and repair of a range of heavy commercial vehicles. Daily tasks will include:

· Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs and component changeouts

· Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

· Accurately complete job cards and inventory records

· Work safely and in accordance with Wakefield Trucks policies and procedures

You

· Qualified diesel mechanic or mechanical trade assistant experience

· Mechanical aptitude with heavy vehicles experience

· Current driver's license (Minimum HR preferred but not essential)

· High Risk Work License (FL preferred but not essential)

· Experience with diagnostic tools (Preferred)

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent organisational and communication skills

· Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
