Based in Burton SA, our premises features mechanical and auto electrical services, fabrication and crash repair facilities ensuring we can handle everything from routine maintenance to major repairs under one roof. At Wakefield Trucks, we deliver complete support across the entire truck ownership journey.

The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the service and repair of a range of heavy commercial vehicles. Daily tasks will include:

· Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs and component changeouts

· Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance

· Accurately complete job cards and inventory records

· Work safely and in accordance with Wakefield Trucks policies and procedures

You

· Qualified diesel mechanic or mechanical trade assistant experience

· Mechanical aptitude with heavy vehicles experience

· Current driver's license (Minimum HR preferred but not essential)

· High Risk Work License (FL preferred but not essential)

· Experience with diagnostic tools (Preferred)

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent organisational and communication skills

· Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
