The Role
Want to drive the next wave of cutting-edge technology in water treatment and deliver infrastructure projects to help fast-track our 2030 vision?
We're seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to head the Innovation Projects program, a key element within our Major Projects portfolio. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of innovative infrastructure and technology solutions, from strategic planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and successful handover.
As the Manager Innovation Projects, you'll oversee the delivery of pioneering work packages. You'll be instrumental in fostering innovative delivery models, championing safety leadership, and aligning project execution with our broader business goals and capital investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead the full lifecycle of Innovation Projects, from concept to commissioning, ensuring excellence in safety, time, cost, and quality.
-
Develop and deliver integrated work packages, in close collaboration with internal teams across our other Framework contracts.
-
Drive innovation in project delivery methods while ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory frameworks.
-
Foster a strong safety culture, demonstrating visible safety leadership and embedding best practices across project teams.
-
Contribute to our business transformation, actively supporting the Project Delivery Group's transition to meet the demands of a growing and future-focused capital program.
This role is a cornerstone of our future Project Delivery Management Structure and essential to realising our ambition to unlock water's full potential. If you're passionate about leading meaningful infrastructure outcomes and embedding innovation into everyday delivery, we want to hear from you.
What we're looking for
We're seeking an experienced and driven project manager to lead the delivery of innovation-focused infrastructure and technology projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a track record in end-to-end project delivery, and the ability to drive innovation while coordinating across multiple technical and stakeholder groups.
-
More than 10 years experience within Project Management
-
Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure or technology projects from initiation to completion.
-
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams and technical areas.
-
Possession of appropriate Engineering or Project Management Degree qualification, or equivalent experience
-
Excellent communication, risk management, and problem-solving abilities to support successful project outcomes.
