About Us:
Future Power WA is a leading Perth-based company specialising in high and low voltage electrical installation and maintenance services throughout Perth and Western Australia. Position: Linesman (HV Electrical Installations)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Linesman to contribute to a range of high voltage electrical installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of safe work practices and the ability to handle a diverse workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and erection of poles, towers, steelwork, and other related infrastructure.
- Installation of pole-mounted switchgear, lighting, underground conduits, cables, switchboards, and distribution boards.
- Conducting testing and commissioning activities for electrical installations.
- Building, maintaining, and optimizing power distribution networks.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in electrical systems.
- Ensuring compliance with installation documentation and safety programs.
- Regular liaison with clients on-site to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Mentoring and supervising Electrical Apprentices to build a skilled workforce.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Cert III in Linesmanship or equivalent qualification.
- Valid "HR" Class Driver's Licence.
- Dogging and Rigging qualifications.
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence.
- Current working at heights certification.
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- National Police Clearance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred, but Not Essential:
- First Aid Certificate.
- Crane qualification (Vehicle Loading Crane or higher).
