Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Health and Education team and play a key role in delivering strategic financial outcomes across contracts in Australia and New Zealand. This also includes an exciting opportunity to work at one of our contracts at the Royal Children's Hospital. Reporting to Finance Team Lead, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do 

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Deliver partnered financial management support across Health & Education contracts.

  • Manage finance and accounting functions including internal controls and reporting.

  • Prepare and present monthly results, budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.

  • Support strategic direction and drive sustainable cost management.

  • Provide financial support and commercial acumen to contract stakeholders.

What You'll Bring 
 

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Finance/Management.

  • CA ANZ / CPA membership.

  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting with a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting, and data analysis.

  • Sound understanding of relevant accounting standards/guidelines, and applicable legislation.

  • Developed stakeholder management skills and the proven ability to develop, maintain and influence business relationships
