Business Development Manager Dealer Finance
1 week ago
About The Role
Are you ready to drive growth and build lasting partnerships in the world of Dealer Finance? As our Business Development Manager, you'll be at the heart of BOQ's Business Banking team, focusing on expanding our Dealer Finance portfolio. You'll work closely with brokers and major partners to attract new business and nurture existing relationships.
Your mission? Deliver outstanding service, develop strategies with our National Manager Partner Relationships and help us achieve new heights in retail and wholesale finance.
You'll be the go-to person for promoting BOQ's suite of products, achieving sales targets and ensuring our partners receive the very best support. Along the way, you'll manage risk, ensure compliance and help our business partners stay up to date with policy and training.
About You
You're a natural relationship builder with a knack for spotting opportunities and making things happen. With experience in business banking, you know your way around credit submissions, business loan applications and negotiating with customers. You're confident cross-selling banking products and have a solid understanding of the commercial market and competitor offerings.
Your selling and negotiation skills are top-notch and you're comfortable analysing complex financial statements. You thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple priorities with excellent organisational and time management skills. Communication is your superpower—whether it's written or spoken—and you're always ready to build strong referral networks.
A degree in a business-related discipline is a plus, but your experience and drive matter most. You're tech-savvy, familiar with MS Office, and ready to tackle challenges with analytical thinking and a solutions-focused mindset.
