We're one of Australia's fastest-growing 3PLs. This isn't just scheduling — it's owning the daily performance of our NSW fleet. We're seeking a sharp, hands-on Fleet Allocator who thrives on live decision-making, manages driver performance tightly, and uses data to keep our cost per pallet low.

What you'll do
  • Own daily allocation & live control of local deliveries across the NSW fleet using TransVirtual (preferred).
  • Track drivers closely: monitor progress, ETAs, delays, dwell times, and compliance; conduct daily brief/debrief and performance coaching.
  • Maximise vehicle space & utilisation: consolidate freight, lift cube/weight fill rates, reduce empty kms, and optimise drops/runs.
  • Control costs: plan efficient routes, minimise overtime and re-handling, and keep cost per pallet and cost per drop to target.
  • Manage CHEP/Loscam end-to-end: create & reconcile transfers, ensure docket accuracy, track exchanges, and align with site pallet counts.
  • Protect compliance: uphold Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, load restraint, site SOPs, and safety standards.
  • Customer comms: action time-sensitive requests, resolve exceptions fast, and keep stakeholders updated.
  • Data & reporting: maintain accurate status notes, POD quality, and run KPIs (DIFOT, utilisation, km/drop, claims, pallet balance).
What you bring
  • Proven experience in transport allocation/dispatch within metro NSW.
  • TransVirtual TMS experience (routing, live tracking, driver app, PODs, reporting) — preferred.
  • Forklift Licence (LF) with safe warehouse practice.
  • Strong understanding of CHEP/Loscam processes (dockets, transfers, portal reconciliation).
  • NSW geography knowledge (metro constraints, time windows, access/clearances).
  • Calm under pressure with sharp problem-solving and clear phone/email communication.
  • Working knowledge of CoR, fatigue, load restraint, and incident escalation.
  • Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets for simple reports and reconciliations.
Performance targets you'll influence
  • DIFOT ≥ 98%, utilisation ≥ 85%, claims rate ↓, km/drop ↓, cost per pallet to target, pallet variances ≤ 1%.
